ABOUT CAC TRACKER
Network Ninja's (NNI) Case Tracking System (CTS) for Children's Advocacy Centers (CACs) is designed to handle all aspects of intake and case management.
The software solution allows for easy collaboration between all associated parties, including local law enforcement, prosecutor's offices, mental health organizations, and family services departments.
Initially developed in partnership with the Chicago Children's Advocacy Center, which required a multidisciplinary team-enabling, case tracking system to help them with joint investigations of child abuse cases, the system has seen real-world success for over seven years.
The application itself is web-based, which allows for location-independency, immediate software upgrades, and system management, without the need of on-site technical staff. The CTS doesn't require powerful hardware or any additional software on the client machines, other than a web browser.
Screenshot - Click for detailThe CTS resides on a server that resides at the client location, but is maintained by NNI remotely. All it requires is network connectivity.
Security is handled in a variety of ways, including extensive firewalling on the server-side, sophisticated authentication mechanisms, and encryption of all traffic between the application and the user. The integration of Smart Cards adds an additional layer of security, requiring the user to have access to a physical "credit card-like" device in order to login.
